THE GATEKEEPERS pt ii

... finally the wall was completed, and they put doors in their place. We then choose men to watch it... These were the GATEKEEPERS... (Neh 7:1)

Most of the time we hear people talk about The Watchers
But we often times forget about The Gatekeepers, and that they are synonymously Powerful and Important
"When others are sleeping, some people are awake at the gate" -Pst Adeboye

The Watchers are known for their ability to see in a long range, (to see future, to see beyond the human range; to see despite what is on ground, because they're not standing on this ground to see)
The Gatekeepers are known for their ability to stand. Their glory is in their strength and their office of being Foremost.. No one enters therein without their permission. They are the first line of accessibility.

After the mounting of the new wall of Jerusalem, the first thing Nehemiah did was not even to get passional guards, or discover elite soldier: but instead choose Gatekeepers...

These two groups having so much power, causes every Lord of a kingdom to therefore first find a way to settle these offices before anyother thing

But this tactical line of defense was never derived from a man, but God Himself...
Then God put cherubim and a sword of fire at the east of the garden... So, no one could go near to the tree that lets him live for ever. -Gen 3:24

This same God, being a King and setting a kingdom upon this earth when He created man from the beginning of time, wanting the best security for His kingdom as always set up The Watchers and Gatekeepers

In scripture you will see numerous watchers, that sprang up across every generation.
He (God) calls them, equip and empower them (like He did to the Cherubims), and plants them in a territory

And the beautiful thing in God's agenda is that these People cut across every generation and every territory
He has planted Gatekeepers and Watchers

Even God see their importance, then who are these people? Where are they in our generation?

I don't know where all of them are presently, but atleast I can confidently say that one of them is this person reading this writeup now. Yes You...

💨 Who are these people? Where are they in our generation? And I sought for a man among them, that should stand in the gap before me for the land, to prevent the day of it's destruction: but I found none (paraphrasing Eze27:30) Remember pt i and ii of The Gatekeeper series; that the Gatekeepers and Watchers are the first line of security.. God needed a people who will stand in the gap, to avert evil from befalling His people, and instead of going to check the chambers of the elite soldier of heaven, He came to Earth instead, He checked the realms of man. Which tells us that, there is no special room where these people grow, or any special place they are been drawn from; but from amongst men themselves When God needs a watchman, He comes to the Chambers of men. WHAT IF MIN. DUNSIN OYEKAN HAD DIED ON THAT DAY OF HIS AND CREW ACCIDENT?

💨 This great minister of God was in Lagos on Sat. 3rd, this month for a program tagged Morning Devotion in Lekki, a meeting he co-ministered with Apt Joshua Selman And under that ministration, I saw these two great men move But unfortunately, the following morning on Sunday, I saw that Min Dunsin was involved in a terrible accident While we are celebrating and thanking God for life, one question keeps bothering, me "What would have happened if the devil have had his way? This is the same man who just brought down heaven and less than 5hours later, we are mourning him... Where is the God he brought down?"
